Georgia’s Class AAAAA No. 1 Tucker vs. No. 2 Stephenson was anything but disappointing. A new rivalry in the making, Friday’s contest was only the second meeting between these two programs that featured over twenty players that you will be watching play in future Saturdays to come. It began as a defensive battle through the first three quarters from the best two scoring defenses in the classification (neither allowing more than 8 points per game) leaving the score at fourteen all. The fourth quarter would give fans every bit of their seven dollars worth, as there were four touchdowns scored and four lead changes in the final 8:52 of the game. The best would come in the final twenty-one seconds, play-by-play announcer David DaCosta was on the call from Hallford Stadium in Clarkston, Georgia.
