Separated by just two miles of Spriggs Road in Woodbridge, Virginia, the Forest Park High School and C.D. Hylton High School football teams will engage in gridiron battle this Friday.
This weekend the Virginia High School League spring championships culminate in a spectacular two-day span of sporting events coined Spring Jubilee. By end of day Saturday, boys and girls in groups 1A-6A will be crowned state champions in baseball, soccer, softball, lacrosse and tennis.
This Saturday, 12 high school football teams will play six games at three separate sites to vie for 2013 Virginia High School League (VHSL) state football championships.
On November 20 and 21, 24 teams in six enrollment classifications will compete in the Virginia High School League (VHSL) girls volleyball semifinals, all hoping to punch their tickets to the November 23rd state championships.
