This weekend the Virginia High School League spring championships culminate in a spectacular two-day span of sporting events coined Spring Jubilee. By end of day Saturday, boys and girls in groups 1A-6A will be crowned state champions in baseball, soccer, softball, lacrosse and tennis.
The 2014 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Softball State Finals get underway this weekend as the Class 1A and Class 2A finalists meet at the Eastside Centre in East Peoria. The games will unfold on the Eastside Centre’s award-winning Mizuno Field on Friday and Saturday, June 6-7.

One of the nation’s most exciting and extravagant high school state tournament events is the aptly named Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Spring Fling.
This Thursday, two Washington state softball teams will take the field in an early-season matchup as Sultan hosts Cedarcrest.
